im gonna FAIL french oral. okay so maybe i failed it alr who cares. (me)
i went to j8 popular and I CANT FIND UNIBALL SIGNO DX 0.38! this is ridiculous la. must i go down to bras basah to look for a PEN? :\

someone asked why ppl rant.(can you tell im feeling philosophical?)
the desire to rant to someone when we're upset or angry or disappointed is borne out of an unconscious need to be needed, wanted, loved. so when ppl scold us really bad or what, we tend to turn to someone we trust, someone whom we think will listen and will not critisize(not too badly anyway).
the reason for this behaviour is because when someone hurts us, it creates a wound within us. we feel the need to tell someone who will not judge us critically and hurt us again, and through doing that, we kind of 'cleanse' the wound. and if we've chosen the right person to rant to, she'll prob patch that wound up; close it or smth. kind of to bring our self confidence level up again i guess.
and the wound might not heal properly/fully, thus when someone else pokes at this weakness again, we find that it seems to hurt even more, because the memories of what caused the wound in the first place, coupled with the new memories of the wound reopening... its like adding salt to a reopened wound.
it gets irritating sometimes, when too many ppl rant at you too many times. but maybe if we thought of it as they thinking we're good listeners(which we may or may not be), as someone to confide in and to trust, maybe it won't seem so bad after a while.
in short, there's nothing like a true friend(:

btw. why do ppl say true blue ____ instead of some other colour? granted, it rhymes, but if u think about it its quite biased leh. blue blood=royalty so true blue is like. :\ ohwell nevermind.
